What is an Auction Social?
An Auction Social is a mini fundraising event sponsored by parents. It’s a great opportunity to socialize with other parents and friends from HCS. Each event is open to a limited number of guests for a set price per person. You can attend the event simply by signing up on a first come, first served basis. Registration will also be available during the Fall Auction on Wednesday, November 16. It is fine to sign up for two spaces (e.g. If you and your spouse both want to attend, you would sign up twice for that particular event). These events are now open for registration online. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Note: When ordering, please be sure to click through all the PayPal screens until the confirmation page.

June 10, 2017: Roofdeck Filipino Boodle Fight
Join us for a Roofdeck Filipino Boodle Fight! What’s a Boodle Fight you ask?? A laid-back, super-fun style of entertaining where Filipino delicacies are served in piles on a banana leaf covered table…for guests to enjoy with their hands! The term began in Philippine military mess halls where the “fight” referred to soldiers slugging it out and grabbing food before it runs out. Don’t worry, at our roofdeck bash we’ll have plenty of food, fun, and forks for all!!! This event is hosted by 7th grade parents Zarah Pua and Nai Zhang (bringing their favorite Filipino specialties) and Julie Hartigan (professional chef and overall lover of party-throwing). Join us for a night under the stars filled with delicious dishes, great tunes, and a potent tiki bar.
