Proceeds from all ticket sales go to fund the Friends of the Hoboken Charter School!

These events are now open for registration online. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Note: When ordering, please be sure to click through all the PayPal screens until the confirmation page.

October 28, 2017: Halloween Spooktacular!

The FoHCS Annual Halloween Spooktacular is here.  Friends & family are welcome to this awesome costume paryt held a the Elks.  Lower School 3:30pm-5:30pm, Middle School 6pm-8pm.

 

November 3, 2017: Kids Night Out – Dance & Pizza Party

Kids, friends and siblings (5+) are invited to a Kids Night Out – Dance & Pizza Party.   During this 2-hour event, kids will learn a fun dance routine from Studio L’s award winning teacher(s).  No past experience required.  Pizza dinner will be provided.  

 

December 3, 2017: Harry Potter Movie Morning

The Hoboken Charter School and Harry Potter have something in common, they are both turning 20 this year! The Friends of Hoboken Charter School are continuing the 20th anniversary celebration by screening Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone.

All attendees must have a ticket to enter. Children will also receive a snack pack for the movie. Lower school students must have a parent and/or guardian attend. Middle & Upper School students may be dropped off.

 

January 5, 2018: Spin into the New You!

“Spin into the New You” and get a kick start on your New Year with a 45 minute “Party on a Bike” spin class hosted by none other than Julie Jarrett, spin queen!  Whether you are a die hard spinner or a first time rider, this private class for HCS family and friends only is guaranteed to be a fun time.  Couples, BFFs, even your teenage kids can participate- so join us for this party on a bike!  Increased fun with prizes for top riders in various categories.  Light refreshments & drinks will be served following the class.  Shoes and towels will be provided.

 

February 10, 2018: Hoboken Speakeasy

Shaken or stirred? Rocks or up? Bitter or sweet or dry or sour? Name your poison, or put yourself in the bartender’s hands. Learn a thing or two about some obscure spirits, or, who cares, just…

Drink, eat, mix and mingle!

 

March 4, 2018: And the Oscar Goes To…

Roll out the red carpet and come dressed to kill to the 2018 Oscars. After you have watched the nominated films on NetFlix, come and enjoy a fabulous dinner inspired by the movies and celebrities alike. Attendees can partake in celebrity gossip and guess the best picture. The celebration continues with Oscar games and prizes!

 

April 20, 2018: Moms & Margaritas

Sorry men, this one is for the ladies only! Ladies, put on your party shoes & join us for margaritas, food & lots of fun. HCS second Mom’s night social (and hopefully annual) & it’ll sure be a great one!

 

April 27, 2018: Square Dance (Lower School Only)

Do-si-do and away we go! – to a square dance party! Gather the kiddos and line them up for some country-style dancing, rustic food and western-themed fun at this hoedown celebration.

 

May 5, 2018: Cinco de Mayo @ The Ale House

“Nacho Ordinary Party”. It’s been a long week at work, now the weekend is here, hang up the suit and tie and come have a beer. Forget about overdue reports and paper trails, come to The Ale House to shake off the work week. Join us for discounted cervezas and Margaritas. Bring your friends … it’s fiesta time!

May 11, 2018: Wine Tasting

It’s a vintage year and we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hoboken Charter School.  Come taste and toast to 20 amazing years.  The commUNITY giving continues as a percentage of all bottles tasted and bought will be donated to the school too!
